Century Business Centers in Guyana

Investment Details

Guyana is a South American country located on the North Atlantic coast that is characterized by dense tropical forests. Its official language is English and it has cricket and calypso music, in addition, it is culturally linked to the Caribbean region. Its capital, Georgetown, is famous for its British colonial architecture, including the tall Anglican Cathedral of St. George, made of painted wood. A large clock adorns the facade of the Stabroek Market, a source of local agricultural products.

Guyana has been called “the next Qatar” by investment analysts, with investors all over the world recognizing it as one of the only investment oasis during this pandemic. The United States Development Bank pledged $200 billion for Guyana investments.
The Guyana market holds these extraordinary opportunities:
1. International Monetary Fund shows Guyana as the fastest growing GDP in the world originally estimated pre-covid at 86% and achieving 26% this year despite covid.
2. Guyana has prospected reserves of 9 billion barrels of oil, the highest per capita of any country in the world. Exxon is currently building its 3rd off-shore oil well and has started extracting oil as of January 2020.
3. There are 100s of multinational corporations ready to come in and establish offices, their biggest challenge: there is virtually zero supply of Class-A office buildings.
